Protected Link (Plain HTML) DemoEven when using plain/pure HTML, downloadable goods can be purchased and protected by CarrotPay. Only after a successful payment being made will the customer be given the real URL of the goods. It is very easy that the merchant can just use the CarrotPay wizard and follow the instructions to create a buy button, then copy and paste it into the HTML webpage. Although the real location of a file cannot be 'hacked' or 'found' before the payment is made successfully, the URL of the content is static, therefore giving the customer unlimited access to the file. This also means that the URL of the file can be published elsewhere on the internet allowing others to freely access it. Despite this problem, low value content, such as images, are very unlikly to be 'hacked' and if someone bought the content, he/she is free to do what he/she want with it regardless of any protection that can be implemented on the site.
